The International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms (IALANA) is an international organisation that comprises of lawyers and lawyer's organisations who work together with the goal of eliminating nuclear weaponry. The association was founded in 1988 in Stockholm, Sweden.
Since it's founding IALANA has expanded it's goals to include:
- The advancement of security concepts based on the application of legal mechanisms.
- Abolish all types of inhumane weapons.
- Development of non-offensive defence.
The IALANA currently has four international offices locate in Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Germany and New York.
